Paramendo Nepal: Transforming Plastic Waste into Sustainable Solutions

At Paramendo Nepal, we believe that waste is not just a problem—it is an opportunity. By repurposing plastic waste into innovative products, creating a circular economy that benefits both the environment and the community. The journey started with a simple mission: to reduce plastic pollution and create sustainable solutions that empower rural communities.

Our History: How It All Began

The story of Paramendo Nepal began in November 2022, when a group of passionate individuals came together during the Plastic to Ghar (P2G) Makeathon. Recognizing the increasing plastic waste in Ree, Dhading, set out to develop practical and sustainable solutions to address the issue.

With support from Monaco Aide & Presence (MAP) and Doko Recyclers, we established the Community Recycling Center (CRC)—a dedicated space for collecting, sorting, and processing plastic waste. Since then, we have been working tirelessly to transform discarded plastics into valuable resources while raising awareness about the importance of responsible waste management.

Our Vision

To create a sustainable and waste-free Nepal by turning plastic waste into valuable products, empowering local communities, and promoting eco-friendly solutions.

Our Mission

  1. Reduce plastic pollution by implementing innovative recycling methods.
  2. Upcycle plastic waste into useful and sustainable products.
  3. Empower local communities through education, employment, and entrepreneurship.
  4. Promote a circular economy where waste is transformed into resources.
